Another evacuation train from Donetsk region arrives in Volyn
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
“84 people from the Donetsk region arrived in the safe region. Among them are 29 children and six people with disabilities,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the evacuees received the necessary assistance, including psychological support and medical care.
Water and food for the internally displaced persons were provided by World Central Kitchen, travel kits by Solidarités International. In addition, children and teenagers received backpacks from the International Rescue Committee.
With the support of UNICEF, “Angels of Salvation” issued a one-time financial assistance of UAH 10,800 per family member for families with children who were forcibly evacuated.
In the Volyn region, the internally displaced people will be resettled in temporary accommodation and in the private sector.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, due to the security situation, more than 200 children are to be evacuated from the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
