We are 97% ready: PM inspects construction of fortifications in Kherson region

The head of government announced this in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today we are visiting the Kherson region. We inspected the construction of fortifications. At the request of the Armed Forces Command, we are constantly building and improving defensive lines. The head of the RMA reported on the work in this area. In Kherson region, the state of construction work is currently 97%," he wrote.

Shmyhal added that the construction of fortifications is a priority task for every head of the frontline regions. The Prime Minister reminded that this year the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated over UAH 2 billion to Kherson region for its implementation.

As reported by Ukrinform, Shmyhal said that in 2022-2024, the government had allocated more than UAH 30 billion for the construction of fortifications.
