Air raid alert goes off across Kyiv region after Russian drones spotted overnight Fri

In Kyiv region, air defense capabilities were activated to intercept incoming kamikaze drones.

That’s according to the regional military administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Air raid alert in Kyiv region!" the press service wrote on Telegram. “Coming from Chernihiv region and into Kyiv region (Vyshgorod district). Also, more swarms coming via Sumy region!”

The administration also warned residents that air defenses were active across the region, urging the population to refrain from taking any pictures or videos that could expose their location.

Subsequently, the Administration released an update, noting that the air raid alert was recalled.

As Ukrinform reported, an air raid alert also went off in Kyiv and a number of regions after a Russian MiG-31K warplane that could carry Kinzhal missiles took off from one of the airfields.
