Explaining complex things in simple words: NPP Safety, Shades in Romania, Shame of Russian navy

1. NPP SAFETY

Rumours are circulating in the media about an “accident at the South Ukrainian NPP”

•     All NPPs on the controlled territory of Ukraine are operating normally, and any reports of an accident are untrue.
•     Last week's temporary failure of associated electrical equipment in the South NPP area occurred as a result of abnormal weather conditions and did not affect the regular operation of the power unit.
•     The fake about the “accident at the Southern Ukrainian NPP” is spread by Russian propaganda to intimidate the population of Ukraine and divert attention from the real accident at the Rostov NPP.
•     We call on politicians and journalists not to speculate and not to spread outright manipulations about the situation in nuclear energy, thus contributing to hostile propaganda.

  

2. SHAHEDS IN ROMANIA

Officials in Bucharest confirmed the fact that a Russian kamikaze drone fell on Romanian territory during the attack on the port of Izmail.

•     Russia is waging a terrorist campaign, attacking Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and civilians with attack drones, missiles, and cruise bombs.
•     This is not the first time that neighbouring countries have suffered from Russian attacks on the territory of Ukraine: Romania, Moldova, Poland, and even Belarus, allied to the Russian Federation.
•     Russia is not afraid of deliberately endangering NATO countries because it has never received an adequate response to a violation of their airspace.
•     It is not important whether Moscow had a conscious intention to harm Romania. The official reaction of Bucharest and NATO to this incident is important. Impunity encourages audacity.
•     Ukraine calls on neighbouring countries to jointly fight against Russian air attacks in the border regions. The effectiveness of such cooperation proved the repulsion of Israel and its allies against a massive Iranian attack in April.

3. SHAME OF THE RUSSIAN NAVY

Russia celebrates Navy Day on July 28.

•     The Russian fleet in Crimea was the pillar and instrument of treacherous aggression against Ukraine in 2014.
•     The desire to keep the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol is one of the justifications of Kremlin propaganda for Russian aggression against Ukraine.
•     The hopes that Moscow placed on its fleet in 2022, planning a full-scale invasion, did not come true. The landing operations in Odesa and Mykolaiv remained unfulfilled dreams of Putin's strategists.
•     All that the Russian sailors “made famous for” in this war was launching Kalibr missiles on Ukrainian children.
•     In the Black and Azov Seas, the Ukrainian Defence Forces sank and damaged about a third of the enemy fleet: the flagship Moskva, a submarine, most of the large amphibious ships, carriers of Kalibr missiles, and much more. The building of the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was destroyed.
•     Not having its own significant naval group on the Black Sea, Ukraine was able to defeat the enemy fleet and drive it to the Caucasus. Recently, the last of the enemy's significant warships escaped from occupied Sevastopol.
