Occupiers announce new wave of “confiscation” of housing in Henichesk district of Kherson region - Resistance movement
This was reported by the Yellow Ribbon movement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement report that the occupation authorities of the TOT of the Kherson region have announced a new wave of confiscation of property of residents of the Henichesk district,” the statement said.
According to the activists, the Russian “Ministry of Land and Property Relations” regularly compiles lists of residential properties in the TOT of Kherson region that allegedly have signs of ownerlessness.
“In order to confirm their property rights, the owners of these premises are offered to personally provide documents of ownership and a Russian passport in the Henichesk municipal district in the village of Shchaslyvtseve... In the absence of supporting documents, the property will be confiscated by the occupation administration,” the activists report.
As Ukrinform reported, in the fall of 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the right-bank part of Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. Part of the region, located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, is temporarily occupied by Russian troops.
