Eleven civilians wounded in Russian shelling of Kherson region on Sunday

Eleven civilians were injured in Russia’s strikes on the Kherson region on Sunday, July 28.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.

"Due to the Russian aggression, 11 people, including 3 children, were injured," the post says.

As noted, over the past day, Zolota Balka, Pryozerne, Komyshany, Sadove, Tiahyntsi, Odradokamianka, Antonivka, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Veletenske, Khreshchenivka, Shyroka Balka, Nova Kuban, Lvove, Novotiahyntsi, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Beryslav, Bruskynske, Novoberyslav and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes.

According to the regional governor, the Russian military hit critical infrastructure facilities, an educational institution, a “point of invincibility,” a playground, a store, and neighborhoods in the region's settlements, particularly 4 apartment blocks and 58 private houses. Commercial and storage facilities, garages and private vehicles were damaged.

"During a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed one Shahed-131/136 over the territory of our region," Prokudin added.

As reported by Ukrinform, the day before, the enemy hit the building of a college in the center of Kherson, causing a fire. No one was injured.
