According to the minister, these new French drones will be supplied to both the Ukrainian army and French forces ‘in the coming weeks’.
Earlier, in March 2024, Lecornu announced an order for the production of 2,000 such French-designed drones from drone manufacturer Delair, intended for both the French army and Ukraine. At that time, he noted that these drones could provide "a complement to Caesar artillery guns."
It was also reported that France would purchase 100 modern kamikaze drones for Kyiv, with delivery expected by summer.
