In the area of responsibility of the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group, the enemy launched five airstrikes yesterday. The Russian occupying forces are attempting to storm Vovchansk in small groups, which are detected and destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Ukrinform reports this information from a live broadcast statement by the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group spokesperson Yevhen Romanov.

"Yesterday, the invaders launched five airstrikes using eight KAB bombs. This is a tactic of destroyed buildings, scorched earth, and devastation. Attempts to break through are being recorded, but Vovchansk is fighting back, and the Defense Forces are repelling the invaders. They attempt to move in small groups and take positions in the ruins, but they are detected and eliminated," Romanov reported.

When asked about Russian losses, the spokesperson noted that the Russian forces do not even keep count.

"We’re keeping track; they aren’t. Yesterday, we counted 126 enemy casualties, including 38 killed and 88 wounded. It's unknown how many will survive until tomorrow. Additionally, 83 pieces of enemy equipment were destroyed or damaged," Romanov shared.

He added that the enemy loses an average of about 150 personnel per day and primarily uses motor vehicles.

"They are conserving armor and cannot replenish their resources promptly, so they use motor vehicles or send personnel on foot into attacks," said the spokesperson.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of the Russian forces in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to November 1, 2024, are approximately 696,410 personnel, with 1,460 losses over the past day alone.
