Ukrainian forces shoot down 29 Russian drones, 18 more disappear from radar

On the night of December 3–4, Ukraine's air defense forces shot down 29 Russian drones and lost track of 18 others.

The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Beginning at 20:00 on Tuesday, December 3, Russian forces launched a coordinated attack using a Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missile from the airspace over Russia's Kursk region, along with 50 Shahed strike drones and other UAVs launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, and Millerovo.

By 09:00 on Wednesday, December 4, Ukraine's anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups had intercepted 29 enemy drones across multiple regions, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk.

Eighteen drones vanished from radar tracking, and one exited Ukrainian airspace, heading toward Russian-occupied territory.
