In Luhansk region, Russian forces are conducting raids on the population in the occupied settlement of Aidar.

Artem Lysohor, Chief of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"In Aidar (formerly Novopskov), raids continue. Three exits from the settlement remain blocked. Occupiers are lining up vehicles and checking locals and visitors against a list they have on hand. They are now not just searching for participants of the ATO/JFO [Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation] but also their relatives, even distant ones," Lysohor stated on Telegram.

He explained that these raids are likely tied to Russian security forces needing to show results by the end of the year, aiming to boost performance metrics.
