Russian shelling causes blackout, damages apartment buildings in Pokrovsk

In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, Russian shelling caused power outages in three districts and damaged gas pipelines.

This was reported by the Pokrovsk Military Administration on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched several attacks on Pokrovsk. At 7:10, artillery shelling struck the eastern part of the town, damaging multi-story residential buildings and a civilian vehicle. Additionally, the shelling resulted in power outages in three districts," the report reads.

At around 11:30, an attack targeted the western part of the town, damaging private property and a gas pipeline.

Furthermore, at 13:25, artillery shelling hit the central part of Pokrovsk, damaging three multi-story residential buildings. There have been no reports of casualties.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian shelling killed two people and injured one in Donetsk region on the previous day.
