Zelensky says 3,935 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity

Since February 24, 2022, Ukraine has already brought back from Russian captivity 3,935 prisoners—3,767 Ukrainian soldiers and 168 civilians.

This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on social media, Ukrinform saw.

"But we must bring everyone back, and much work remains to be done. We must also establish the truth about all our people who are missing," Zelensky wrote on X.

Zelensky stressed that the state does not forget about the children deported by Russia from Ukrainian soil.

"Russians themselves admit that these abducted children number in the hundreds of thousands, dispersed across their territory. Returning them is the most challenging task. On the occupied territories of Ukraine, at least several million people remain," the President emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, Zelensky named Ukraine's losses in the full-scale war: 43,000 killed in action.
