Five more children and their families safely returned to the Ukrainian government-controlled territory.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, Ukrinform saw.

"As part of the initiative launched by the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA, five more Ukrainian children and their families returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. Among those returned are three young Ukrainians who have just become adults. Two of them spent a long time in Russia, where they were subjected to psychological pressure, and the third young man, deprived of family support, finally fled the temporarily occupied territory," the publication says.

An important achievement of the Ukrainian side was the liberation of a family of four, in which children aged 11 and 14 were the target of persecution due to the family's pro-Ukrainian stance, and assistance to a 77-year-old woman who was unable to evacuate on her own.

"Their stories are evidence of the terror and fear that people under occupation are forced to live with," Andriy Yermak emphasized.

He also noted that the return was possible thanks to the coordination of state bodies and institutions in Ukraine, the active support of volunteers, NGOs, and international partners.

"I am grateful to the teams of the President’s Office, Ombudsman's Office and all those involved who made this return possible. Five more children returned to Ukraine along with their families," the head of the Office added.

As Ukrinform reported, another child was recovered from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
