Eight injured as Russians strike Zlatopil in Kharkiv region

Russian troops attacked the city of Zlatopil (formerly Pervomaiskyi) in the Kharkiv region, injuring eight people.

This has been reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, in a Telegram message, according to Ukrinform.

“The occupiers attacked the town of Zlatopil, Lozova district. According to preliminary data, the enemy launched a missile attack. At this moment, there are five injured,” he wrote.

Later, Syniehubov wrote that the number of casualties increased to eight.

“Repeated strikes were recorded,” he said.

Additionally, the regional governor stated that the strike was recorded in the vicinity of a financial institution, with other non-residential structures and civilian vehicles sustaining damage.

As reported, on July 4, 2023, Russia struck the town of Zlatopil in the Kharkiv region at a time when residents were gathered to say farewell to military officer Oleh Fadeyenko. More than 30 people were injured.
