Ukrainian Marines destroy four Russian IFVs in Kursk region

Soldiers of Ukraine's 36th Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilinskyi, in cooperation with friendly units, have destroyed four Russian BMD-2 amphibious assault vehicles and 17 invaders in the Kursk region.
The brigade reported this on its Facebook page, according to Ukrinform.
"Two mechanized assaults were repelled by Mykolaiv marines in cooperation with friendly units. The brigade's firepower destroyed four BMD-2s and 17 enemy paratroopers," the post said.
Russia's total combat losses in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to December 11, 2024 are estimated at about 757,340, with 1,400 soldiers killed or wounded in action on December 10 alone.
