
Death toll from Russian strike on Poltava rises to eight, including child

The number of people killed in Russia's missile attack on a residential building in Poltava has risen to eight, including one child.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"In Poltava, the death toll has increased to eight, including one child," the statement reads.

Psychologists from the SES and the National Police have provided assistance to 177 people, including ten children.
Rescue teams continue emergency operations at the site.
Earlier reports said that the attack had killed seven people and left 17 others injured, including four children.
