According to Ukrinform, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this in Telegram.

According to the investigation, on February 12, at about 4 a.m., Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kyiv.

So far, one person has been reported dead in the Obolon district of the capital - a man born in 1985.

The attack resulted in a fire in a business center building in the Obolon district, a fire in a warehouse in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, and a fire on the roof of a building in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital.

Parked cars were damaged in the yards of the buildings.

Emergency services and law enforcement officers are working at the scene to record another war crime of the Russian Federation.

The exact number of victims is being established.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the SSU Main Directorate in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down six Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 71 drones.

According to the State Emergency Service, a Russian missile strike in the Obolon district of Kyiv on the morning of February 12 killed one person and injured four, including a child.
