Over 30 residents evacuated from Kupiansk district in Kharkiv region

In Ukraine's eastern Kharkiv region, 31 residents have been evacuated from settlements in the Kupiansk district, which remain under constant shelling by Russian forces.

The Kharkiv regional police reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Officers from the Kupiansk district police department's prevention sector, in cooperation with the special police regiment of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, evacuated 31 people from the city of Kupiansk and the settlements of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kivsharivka, Podoly, Lisna Stinka, Kindrashivka, Monachynivka, Kurylivka, Smorodkivka, Vyshnivka, and Nechvolodivka," the statement reads.

Police transported the evacuees to safe locations within the Kupiansk district using official vehicles and handed them over to volunteers.

"If you or your loved ones wish to evacuate from areas under constant Russian shelling, please contact the evacuation hotline at 0-800-33-92-91, the police emergency line at 102, or visit the nearest police station," law enforcement officials said.

Earlier reports said that all children had been evacuated from 90 border settlements in the Sumy region.
