Ukraine's president, Rheinmetall CEO discuss expansion of cooperation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Armin Papperger, CEO of the German defense company Rheinmetall AG, have discussed expanding their collaboration.
Zelensky shared details of the discussion on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"We already have successful cases of joint equipment repairs and localized production, and Ukraine is ready to scale up ammunition, armored vehicles, and air defense systems. The more of these we have, the safer our Europe will ultimately be," Zelensky said.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Rheinmetall had delivered five additional state-of-the-art Caracal airborne assault vehicles to Ukraine.
