
Russian strikes in Kherson region leave eight people injured
Kherson Regional Governor Oleksandr Prokudin announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Several settlements came under fire, including Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozirka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Romashkove, Beryslav, Chervonyi Maiak, Zolota Balka, Novokairy, Mylove, Dudchany, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Sablukivka, Vesele, Kizomys, Kozatske, Lvove, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Molodizhne, Novotiahynka, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Poniativka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Sofiivka, Tokarivka, Tiahynka, and Novoraisk.
Residential buildings, including an apartment building and nine private homes, along with a "point of invincibility," an outbuilding, and private vehicles were damaged.
Prokudin also noted that air defense forces shot down two Russian Shahed-131/136 drones in the Kherson region overnight.
Earlier, on February 17, Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on a car in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring a 43-year-old woman.
