
Russians strike Zolota Balka in Kherson region killing woman
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office, a pretrial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a civilian (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, on March 16, 2025, around 10:00, Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone on the village of Zolota Balka," the statement reads.
As a result of the explosion, a 40-year-old woman was killed, and a 70-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital.
As previously reported, Russian forces shelled over 30 settlements in Kherson region over the past day. One person was killed, and 11 others were injured.
