
Germany delivers another military aid package to Ukraine
The list has been updated on the Federal Government's website, Ukrinform reports.
In particular, the new package includes 22 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAP), three GEPARD self-propelled anti-aircraft guns with spare parts, and 10,000 rounds of ammunition for them (used as air defense systems).
The package also includes missiles for the IRIS-T SLM air defense systems, ammunition for the LEOPARD 1 main battle tanks, ammunition for the MARDER infantry fighting vehicles, 5,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition and 2,000 rounds of 122mm ammunition, as well as 8,000 rounds of 120mm mortar shells, etc.
Additionally, Germany supplied Ukraine with 50 VECTOR reconnaissance drones with spare parts, 30 drone detection systems, and 30 Gereon RCS tracked unmanned ground vehicles.
The package also includes two WISENT 1 mine clearing tanks, two mine ploughs, 100 portable mine-clearing systems H-PEMBS, and two border protection vehicles.
German partners have also provided laser range finders, infrared binoculars, MK 556 and HK 416 assault rifles, first aid kits, and more.
Germany is currently Europe's largest supplier of military aid to Ukraine.
