
Another 15 children evacuated from shelled Donetsk region to Transcarpathia
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, and a video of the evacuation was published.
“Another 15 children and 11 adults were evacuated to Transcarpathia region in cooperation with the “East SOS” Charitable Foundation and the Prolisok humanitarian mission. These are residents of Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Druzhkivka, Dobropillia and Kramatorsk communities,” the head of the region wrote.
He noted that 14 children and their families were accommodated free of charge in a renovated dormitory in Beregovo. The dormitory is equipped with the most comfortable living conditions - it has new furniture and appliances, and all the necessary things and hygiene products are provided for the comfort of the people.
According to Filashkin, another family was helped to get to the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities, which is located in the Bushtyn community. There, the child and her aunt will undergo treatment and rehabilitation because they have chronic health problems.
As reported, Donetsk region is under constant shelling by Russian troops, almost every day the Russian army kills and injures civilians, destroys houses, businesses, energy, gas and other infrastructure facilities. Donetsk region has the longest frontline, about 300 kilometers. Mandatory evacuations are underway in the region.
As of March 12, 211 children remained in the communities of Donetsk region that are classified as active combat zones.
