
Russians attack Zaporizhzhia with 12 Shahed drones – police
This was reported by the police of Zaporizhzhia region in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“The occupiers attacked the regional center with twelve Shahed UAVs. As a result of hits on residential buildings, fires broke out and civilian infrastructure was destroyed,” the statement said.
Currently, nine people are known to be wounded (including a baby) and two dead - a 41-year-old man and his 14-year-old daughter.
In total, six multi-storey buildings and one private house, a kindergarten and a catering facility were damaged.
Paramedics, police officers, investigative teams, explosives experts, rescuers and all necessary services are working at the scene. A mobile point for receiving applications and reports from citizens affected by the enemy attack has been deployed, the police added.
As reported, on the evening of March 21, explosions occurred during an attack by Russian drones in Zaporizhzhia.
