Injury toll from Russia's drone attack on Zaporizhzhia rises to 16
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"The number of those wounded in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia has increased to 16," he wrote.
Two more victims sought medical assistance -- a hospitalized 18-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman who will receive outpatient treatment.
Earlier reports stated that Russian forces launched a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia on the evening of March 21, causing fires and destroying residential buildings. A family -- a mother, father, and child -- was killed in the strike. Initially, 12 people were reported injured, including a nine-month-old baby. Three of the wounded remain in critical condition in the hospital.
Later, the number of those injured was confirmed to have increased to 14, and now it has risen to 16.
