Russian forces kill 605 children in Ukraine since war started

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Russian forces have killed 605 children in Ukraine.

The Prosecutor General's Office reported the figures on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"More than 2,444 children have been affected by Russia's full-scale armed aggression in Ukraine. As of the morning of March 25, 2025, official data from juvenile prosecutors confirms that 605 children have been killed and over 1,839 have suffered injuries of varying severity," the post reads.

The highest number of child casualties has been recorded in the Donetsk region (634 children), Kharkiv region (470), Kherson region (202), Dnipropetrovsk region (203), Kyiv region (136), Zaporizhzhia region (170), Mykolaiv region (118), and Sumy region (115).

On March 24, a Russian strike on Sumy injured 22 children.

Additionally, a 15-year-old girl who was wounded in a Russian attack on Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, on March 17 died from her injuries on March 24.

On March 23, three people, including a five-year-old girl, were killed in Kyiv when debris from a Russian drone crashed into a residential area.
