Ambulance crew hit by Russian shelling while aiding wounded in Kherson

In Kherson, a Ukrainian ambulance crew was struck by Russian shelling while assisting a wounded individual. The attack injured a 33-year-old paramedic and a 63-year-old driver.

As reported by Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA), announced this on Facebook.

"In Kherson, an ambulance crew assisting a wounded person came under Russian shelling," Prokudin wrote.

The medics were evacuating a 59-year-old man to the hospital. The man had sustained a blast injury, a concussion, and abdominal wounds. During the evacuation, Russian forces attacked.

As a result of the strike the 33-year-old paramedic and the 63-year-old driver suffered blast injuries and concussions.

All the injured individuals are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that a 55-year-old woman was killed, and a 56-year-old man was wounded during massive shelling in Kherson. Later reports indicate that another man waiting at a bus stop was also killed.
