War update: 159 clashes on frontline since day-start, fighting ongoing on seven fronts

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, providing operational information as of 16:00 on Thursday, March 27, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

Russian forces have struck several settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Specifically, artillery attacks were carried out on Bleshnia, Ulanove, Bila Beriza, Khodyne, Malushyne, Nova Sloboda, Oleksandrivka, Porozok, Stryletska Pushkarka, and Dmytrivka. Airstrikes hit the areas of Myropil, Prokhody, Uhroiidy, Krasnopillia, and Khmelivka.

In the Kharkiv sector, the invaders carried out four assault actions towards Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces conducted 25 assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove, towards Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Bohuslavka. Currently, 19 clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 27 times near Nadiya, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Yampolivka, towards Novoserhiivka, Nove, Olhivka, Dronivka, and Hryhorivka. Ten clashes continue.

In the Siversk sector, Russian troops conducted three offensive actions near Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled two attempts by the Russians to advance near Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne. Two other enemy attacks are ongoing.

In the Toretsk sector, the Russians launched 21 attacks on the Ukrainian positions in the areas of Krymske, Ozarivka, Kurdiumivka, and Toretsk, towards Dyliivka, Leonidivka, and Shcherbynivka. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russian invaders attacked the Ukrainian positions 41 times today near Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and towards Malynivka and Novooleksandrivka. Eight clashes are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are repelling 13 enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Skudne, Dniproenerhiia, and Burlatske.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces carried out eight assault actions in the areas of Pryvilne and Novosilka, as well as towards Vilne Pole.

Also, the Rusian invaders launched airstrikes at Shevchenko, Novodarivka, Novopil, and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four enemy attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance towards Shcherbaky, Lobkove, and Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russians did not carry out active offensive actions.

In the Kursk sector, eight combat engagements occurred today, one of which is still ongoing. Russian forces struck with 14 guided bombs and carried out 237 artillery shellings, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems.

As Ukrinform reported, the village of Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia region remains under the control of tUkraine’s Defense Forces.
