Missile strikes have hit the Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi, and Obolonskyi districts in Kyiv, sparking fires and prompting urgent responses from medical teams.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported the situation on his Telegram channel.

"A medical team is en route to respond to calls in the Darnytskyi district," Klitschko shared. He also noted that the missile attack on Kyiv remains ongoing.

Later, Klitschko updated that medics had been dispatched to the Obolonskyi district as well. "Medical teams are on their way to the Obolonskyi district following calls for assistance," he confirmed.

Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, added that fires had been reported in the Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi districts due to the enemy attack. "Rescuers are already on their way," Tkachenko stated on Telegram.

The mayor reported that debris landed in two locations within the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, affecting non-residential buildings.

Later, the mayor said that there were also hits in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, and there are victims in the Darnytskyi district.

“Fires were recorded in Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi and Obolonskyi districts of the city. There are victims in the Darnytskyi district. Medics and other services are at the scene,” Klitschko reported.

As Ukrinform reported, the missile attack was preceded by an enemy drone attack, and air defenses forces were operating in Kyiv and the region.
