Ukraine approves use of new ground robot equipped with machine gun

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and authorized the use of a domestically produced ground robotic complex, the D-21-12R, equipped with a large-caliber machine gun for deployment in the Armed Forces.

The ministry announced this on its website, Ukrinform reports.

According to the main directorate for support of the life cycle of weapons and military equipment, the D-21-12R is designed for versatile operational tasks, including surveillance, patrolling, providing fire support to units, and neutralizing enemy personnel and lightly armored vehicles. Its operator can control the robot from a protected shelter at a considerable distance.

The D-21-12R demonstrates exceptional maneuverability, making it effective for operations in off-road terrains, marshlands, and shallow water obstacles.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian kamikaze drone Amaga-10 has been officially authorized for deployment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
