According to the General Staff, the destruction of this facility significantly diminishes Russia's capability to carry out military operations against Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Sumy region and the Kursk sector.

As reported by Ukrinform, on March 27, the Ukrainian Air Force struck the Pogar border checkpoint near Sluchovsk in Russia's Bryansk region. This location had been frequently used for launching enemy drones.
