
Russian troops launched 105 attacks in Sumy region over past day
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Sumy Regional State Administration in Telegram.
“During past day, Russians fired 105 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 285 explosions were recorded. Sumy, Yunakivka, Miropilia, Bilopilia, Krasnopilia, Velykopysarivka, Novoslobidska, Hlukhiv, Shalyhine, Esman, Seredyno-Buda communities were shelled,” the statement reads.
Most explosions were heard in the Krasnopilia community - an air strike using an guided aerial bombs(21 explosions), mortar shelling (13 explosions), artillery shelling (46 explosions), and FPV drone strikes (9 explosions).
The situation in Myropilia community was also noisy: air strikes with the use of guided aerial bombs (5 explosions), artillery shelling (15 explosions).
In Yunakivka community, an air strike using a guided aerial bombs (2 explosions), artillery shelling (37 explosions), MLRS shelling (8 explosions), UAV drops of explosives (1 explosion), and a kamikaze drone strike (1 explosion) were recorded.
The enemy dropped 29 mines on the Esman community. There were also attacks by FPV drones (3 explosions), artillery shelling (5 explosions).
Shalyhine community: UAVs dropped explosive ordnance (3 explosions), mortar shelling (7 explosions), artillery shelling (18 explosions), and FPV drone attacks (2 explosions).
Sveska community: the enemy attacked with FPV drones (6 explosions). Bilopilia community: explosive devices were dropped from a UAV (8 explosions). Velykopysarivka community: an attack by FPV drones (12 explosions) and mortar shelling (7 explosions) were recorded.
Novoslobidka community: the enemy fired from artillery (7 explosions) and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (2 explosions). Hlukhiv community: FPV drone strikes (3 explosions), mortar attacks (6 explosions), and MLRS attacks (8 explosions). Seredyno-Buda community: an explosive device was dropped from a UAV (3 explosions).
As Ukrinform reported, in Sumy, the death toll from a Russian missile strike on April 13 increased to 34, with 117 people injured, including 15 children.
