Media: Drones attack major chemical plant in Voronezh region
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.
In Rososh, located in the Voronezh region, residents are reporting explosions. There are also reports of a fire at one of the local factories.
Earlier, monitoring channels reported an air raid alert in the region.
According to ASTRA’s OSINT analysis, a fire was reported in Rososh, 4 kilometers from the Minudobreniya JSC plant—one of the largest chemical plants in the Voronezh region.
The plant is managed by a subsidiary of Roskhim JSC.
Previously, media reports linked the facility to oligarch Arkady Rotenberg, who is subject to international sanctions.
According to publicly available data, the plant’s capacity allows it to produce over 550,000 tons of ammonium nitrate and up to 1.2 million tons of nitroammophoska per year. Ammonium nitrate, in particular, can be used in the production of explosives.
On the night of December 13, 2025, Ukrainian drones had already attacked the facility.
As reported by Ukrinform, a powerful explosion occurred on March 31 at the Nizhnekamskneftekhim petrochemical plant in the Russian region of Tatarstan.
