Armed Forces of Ukraine regain control of section in Kharkiv region between Ambarne and Milove, says Tregubov

This was reported in a comment to Ukrinform by Victor Tregubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Task Force.

“There [in the Kharkiv region] is indeed a small area between Ambarne and Milove where the Russians have been pushed back, and control has been restored,” he said.

According to the spokesperson, the situation remains tense in other areas, particularly in the Lyman and Kupiansk sectors.

“First and foremost, they [the occupiers] are trying to advance in the Lyman and Kupiansk sectors, especially from the eastern side toward our bridgehead on the left bank of the Oskil River—that’s where there is some activity. There is, of course, movement there as well, including in the area of Vovchansk and Starytsia, but this is a common occurrence,” Tregubov said.

He clarified that active enemy infiltration operations are also ongoing in the area near Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, though not directly within the settlement itself.

“It’s not Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi itself, it’s the surrounding area; further out, there’s currently some ‘gray zone’ activity, with fairly active Russian infiltration operations underway. In that sector, they’re trying to push in quite noticeably and aggressively,” the spokesperson noted.

According to DeepState, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have regained control near Ambarne.

As reported by Ukrinform, over the past 24 hours, on April 6, the enemy launched eight attacks in the Kupiansk sector in the area of Pishchane and toward Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, Petropavlivka, and Kurylivka.
