Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,030 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to April 8, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,306,500 personnel, including 1,030 losses over the past day.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In addition, Russian forces have lost: 11,846 (+5) tanks, 24,368 (+4) armored combat vehicles, 39,625 (+63) artillery systems,1,723 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,341 (+1) air defense systems, 435 (+0) aircraft, 350 (+0) helicopters, 225,301 (+1,960) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,517 (+0) cruise missiles, 33 (+0) warships / boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 88,103 (+241) vehicles and fuel tankers. 4,117 (+2) special equipment units.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 7, as of 22:00, there were 128 combat engagements on the frontline. In the Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole sectors of the front, Russian forces carried out more than 70 attacks.
