Former official of Luhansk RSA sentenced to 9.5 years in prison for collaboration with occupiers
The 3rd Directorate of the SSU Main Directorate in Donetsk and Luhansk regions reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"A former chief specialist of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, who took a senior position in an illegal authority, was sentenced in absentia to a long term behind bars. After the aggressor's invasion of Luhansk region, the official, who was on leave at the time, came to Novoaydar, which was captured by the enemy, and offered her services to the 'new government'," the statement said.
The invaders appointed the traitor "deputy head of the administration of the Novoaydar district of the LPR", and soon rewarded her with a medal, the SSU noted.
Ukrainian justice also highly appreciated the collaborator's services to the terrorist state: she was found guilty under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced in absentia to 9 years and 6 months in prison with confiscation of all property, the special service stressed.
The offender was put on the wanted list.
As Ukrinform reported, the leader of the terrorist LPR Leonid Pasichnyk was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison.
