In Kharkiv region, a court has sentenced a woman to six years and six months in prison for passing Russia about the movement of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrinform saw.

The court found the suspect guilty of unlawfully circulating information about the movement and location of the Armed Forces’ units, as well as justifying or denying Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

Prosecutors proved in trial that the perpetrator has been in contact with her Russian handler since 2023 via an online messenger. She would collect and deliberately transmit to the intelligence operative sensitive information regarding Ukraine’s defenses.

The convict would also spy on Ukraine’s fortifications and military bases, marking them on Google Maps for her handler.

The woman also openly supported the Russian world concept and backed Russian aggression.

At the court hearing, she pleaded guilty.
