Law enforcers nab five Russia-hired arsonists

"All suspects have been recruited by the invaders as they were looking for quick money on Telegram channels," the SBU noted.
In particular, two culprits, 17 and 20, were detained in Kyiv on hot pursuit after setting fire to a military pickup truck undergoing post-deployment technical maintenance.
In Zakarpattia region, two suspects were detained for trying to set ablaze the building of the village council in the Mukachevo district. Fire damaged the door and the window. After that, the attackers tried to burn down the generator that powers the base station of the mobile operator, but they were detained when they were about to commit a new crime.
In Poltava region, a 16-year-old college student was caught setting fire to an SUV owned by a combat brigade fighting on the Eastern Front.
Law enforcers have pressed charges against all suspects, who are now remanded in custody, facing up to 10 years in prison.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Security Service detained two men in Odesa who had been instructed by FSB handlers to set ablaze Ukrainian military vehicles in the area.
