Militants launched 116 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 116 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. One Ukrainian soldier was killed, another fifteen were wounded.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers to launch attack on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, militants used tank to fire at Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and mortars to fire at Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Vodiane, and Hnutove .

In Luhansk direction, terrorists shelled Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), using mortars of different calibers.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists used 120mm and 82mm mortars to fire at Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops in Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher fire.
