Militants launched 35 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 35 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO press center.

The largest number of attacks was recorded in Mariupol direction, where the enemy used 82mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian strongholds near Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk). Militants also fired at ATO troops outside Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. In addition, Ukrainian marines came under ZU-23-2 antiaircraft mount fire outside Vodiane.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired at Ukrainian soldiers near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Defenders of Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) came under heavy machine gun fire.

In Luhansk direction, militants used 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian strongholds near Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk). ATO troops in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) came under 82mm mortar fire.
