Militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The tensest situation was observed in Mariupol direction, where the enemy used ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mounts, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian positions near    Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk). In addition, militants fired at Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), using antitank grenade launchers. Ukrainian marines came under small arms fire outside Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants used 82mm mortars, antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to launch attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk). Ukrainian strongholds outside Troitske (69km west of Luhansk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) came under antitank grenade launcher and small arms fire.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian servicemen came under small arms fire in Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk).
