Militants launched 37 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). ATO troops also came under grenade launcher fire outside Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol).

In Donbas direction, Russian-backed militants launched the largest number of attacks yesterday. In particular, Ukrainian strongholds on the outskirts of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) came under 82mm mortar, grenade launcher and small arms fire. The same types of weapons were used by terrorists to fire at Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations used 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns to shell ATO troops near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk) and Troitske (69km west of Luhansk).
