Militants launched 71 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Lebedynske and Vodiane. The enemy also fired at ATO troops outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), using 82mm mortars, and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), using grenade launchers and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, the tensest situation was observed in suburbs of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), where militants shelled Ukrainian troops, using mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers and small arms. In addition, illegal armed formations used 82mm mortars, small arms and grenade launchers to fire at Verkhnetoretsk, Opytne, Luhanske.

In Luhansk direction, militants used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near outside Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk). ATO troops came under artillery fire near Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka.

As a result of hostilities over the past day, one soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was wounded.
