Twenty-eight Ukrainian combat units already trained under NATO standards

Twenty-eight combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already undergone military training under the NATO standards.

Spokesman for the Defence Ministry of Ukraine, Colonel Dmytro Hutsuliak announced this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Twenty-eight combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already undergone complete military training under the NATO standards. The military instructors from Canada, the UK, the United States, Lithuania and Poland were involved in the training," Hutsuliak said.

According to him, 297 instructors have already been prepared this year for the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the standards of the Alliance. About 1,200 instructors have been prepared since the start of the defense reform, half of whom were trained by foreign instructors.
