Militants launched 25 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 25 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded.

The tensest situation was observed in Donetsk direction, where illegal armed formations used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions on the outskirts of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). As a result of shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded. In addition, ATO troops came under enemy fire near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, Russian-backed militants fired at Ukrainian strongholds outside Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), using grenade launchers. The enemy also used grenade launchers and small arms to launch attacks on Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

In Luhansk direction, militants shelled Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), using Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). ATO troops in Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) came under grenade launcher fire.
