Militants launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

"Over the past day, illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire 12 times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces returned fire almost in each case. As a result of fighting, no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen were reported," the statement reads.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations launched attacks on Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Zhovte (17km north-west of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers and small arms. ATO troops outside Trokhizbenka (33km north-west of Luhansk) came under 82mm mortar fire.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants fired 82mm mortars on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). The enemy used infantry weapons to fire at Ukrainian positions outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk). Illegal armed formations also opened fire near Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), using antiaircraft mounts ad small arms. In the area of Avdiivka, the enemy UAVs, prohibited by the Minsk agreements, were observed.
