Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

"Over the past day, illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire 22 times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces returned fire 13 times. As a result of fighting, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded," the statement reads.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations fired mortars on Lozove (13km west of Donetsk), Trokhizbenka (33km north-west of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). Militants also launched attacks on the defenders of Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Lobacheve (17km north-west of Luhansk), Lopaskine (24km north-west of Luhansk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), using grenade launchers of different types. ATO troops outside Malynove (19km north-east of Luhansk), Zhovte (17km north-west of Luhansk), Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) came under small arms fire.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants opened fire from grenade launcher and small arms on the Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol). Terrorists also used 120mm mortars and weapons on infantry combat vehicles to fire at Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol). In addition, militants launched attacks on Ukrainian troops near Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), using infantry weapons and heavy machine guns.
