One Ukrainian soldier killed, two wounded in Donbas over past day

One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another two were wounded as a result of the enemy shelling in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a press briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Unfortunately, one soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was killed as a result of the enemy shelling outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). Two servicemen were wounded, they were immediately taken to a military hospital and provided with necessary medical assistance,” he said.

As reported, Russian-backed militants continued to disrupt the ceasefire agreements of the Trilateral Contact Group and shelled the Ukrainian positions with weapons banned under the Minsk agreements.
