Ukraine to deepen defense cooperation with NATO
"Ukraine's cooperation with NATO in the field of defense will deepen," Former head of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), member of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom Anthony Tether told journalists.
Commenting on the priority plans and immediate steps of the Concern Ukroboronprom, which now includes 134 defense enterprises, he described three aspects of the international audit: operational audit (analysis of company management), assessment of real financial capacity and accurate financial accounting and, most importantly, implementation of the results of this analysis.
He expressed a firm conviction that Ukraine's cooperation with NATO in the field of defense "will be surely in-depth" and facilitated with a planned audit. Speaking about the supply of military equipment and weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is already being provided by Ukroboronprom, Tether noted: "Good work is already being done. They [the Concern's enterprises] have clearly studied the needs of the Ukrainian army on the basis of real experience and understanding the modernization of the army."
