Militants launched five attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched five attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations fired mortars of different calibers, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft mounts and machine guns on defenders of Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). Militants also used automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to violate ceasefire outside Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk).

ATO troops also came under grenade launcher and small arms fire near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, militants opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars on Ukrainian positions outside Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).

As a result of the enemy shelling, no casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.
